‘Lord of the Rings’ director, peter Jackson, has sympathized with Muslim brothers and sisters following terrorist attack on two mosques in New Zealand on Friday.

According to the statement published in Variety Online Magazine, ‘Lord of the Rings’ director peter Jackson condemned the terrorist attack which was carried out on Friday in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. At least 49 people were killed in the incident.

“New Zealanders are devastated. Our hearts go out to all those who have been harmed by this cowardly act of hate. Kiwis stand united in our love and support for our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters. We will do whatever we can to help them heal and rise above this terrible tragedy,” Jackson said.

Since the movie locations for ‘Lord of the Rings’ is in New Zealand, this country has long been an attractive destination for tourists. New Zealand is a scenic land which attracts directors and filmmakers for their shooting projects.
